URBinclusion is a European project that focuses on the co-creation of innovative solutions to reduce urban poverty, working through a collaborative network of nine partner cities. These cities are implementing integrated social inclusion strategies tailored to their local contexts, with the shared goal of fostering more inclusive, equitable, and sustainable urban communities.

The project acknowledges that urban poverty is a deeply multifaceted challenge, involving a complex interplay of economic, social, cultural, and institutional factors. As such, tackling it requires more than isolated interventions — it demands a rethinking of how decisions are made, and a deeper integration of policies across sectors such as housing, education, employment, and health.

URBinclusion places particular emphasis on the interconnectedness of policy measures, highlighting the need for systemic approaches rather than fragmented ones. This involves creating bridges between different levels of governance and different policy domains, with the aim of generating more cohesive and impactful outcomes for vulnerable communities.

To support this transformation, the project promotes innovative methods of knowledge exchange and collaborative learning among the partner cities. Through peer-to-peer activities, workshops, and thematic clusters, city representatives and local stakeholders share experiences, tools, and good practices — creating a dynamic environment where experimentation and mutual inspiration are encouraged.
